Donkeys come in three primary breeds – 3000 lb. (D12-3K), 4000 lb. (D12-4K) and 5000 lb. (M12-5K) capacity. Choosing the right capacity can save weight, wear and tear on your truck and increase payloads.
For delivery on improved surfaces, the Burro walk behind forklift can save even more weight and cost significantly less than the Donkey.
Engine / Transmission
The right power train is important. The Donkey is powered by an ultra-reliable Kubota diesel engine coupled to the time-proven General Motors 6T40, automatic transmission. Familiar automotive controls make the operation of the Donkey easy to learn.
Reach
All Donkeys are equipped with scissor reach. How much you need depends on your product and delivery environment. Donkeys are available with 27″, 36″, 44″ and 56″ reach.
